Self-care Schedule - On How 10 Minutes A Day Can Save Your Day (And Family Life)

Day after day, year after year, you fight your way through washing clothes, conflicts, sleepless nights, children that don't want to listen, all to get your family life and work life to fit together. Our society is built on being busy. You have to be more and more effective in your workplace, you've got to perform more often and  be more adaptable. You're really, really busy.


If you want to create a good family life, you have to start with your most important relationship - the one with yourself.


As a mother, you have to feel good. You have to find peace in yourself. In order to make it in this hectic day-to-day life, you've got to be really conscious of how you spend your time and your energy. It's important for you to take time to relax and unplug.


This can feel utterly impossible in today’s very fast-paced world, where being busy, having a full schedule, having a career, and doing a thousand things at once is very prestigious. In that light, it can be hard to admit to yourself, Alright, I'm going to unplug now and lie on the sofa for a moment, or I need to just sit down with a coffee, away from my kids, away from everything, just with my feet up on the table, being myself.


That can be really tough. But you can do it, easily.


Practice self-care on a daily basis makes a huge difference. It's not selfish - you'll be a much better mom.
