As a mom you are busy taking care of others all the time, taking care of your children, taking care of the house, taking care of your job, maybe taking care of your parents. And you can feel extremely exhausted once in awhile that's why so many mothers really miss some time with their friends.
To spend time with people who like them more than they need them. To spend time with somebody who is truly interested (and has the time) in listening to what you think, what you experienced, how you feel about small and big thanks. And and so many mothers also miss having an uninterrupted conversation, to talk to somebody more than one minute without getting interrupted.
And it turns out that friendship has another positive effect as well because research shows that having good friends is important to both health and happiness.
What it all comes down to is that we miss just being me, a person, friend and not somebody's mom, colleague, wife or daughter. Many mothers miss the freedom of just being me.
